Discret, les informations sur ce jeune vigneron prometteur se font rare. Une petite trentaine, Kevin Bouillet a repris l’exploitation familiale dans son jura natal. 4 hectares en appellation « Arbois-Pupillin » qu’il s’est empressé de convertir en Bio et en laissant un enherbement permanent au sol. Il y cultive les 5 cépages traditionnels jurassiens plus un sixième moins connu, que les gens du cru nomment le « Melon à queue rouge ». Un cousin du Chardonnay, délaissé depuis les années 70 en raison de son faible rendement et de la petite taille de ses raisins. Le vigneron propose des vins natures du Jura assez diversifiés : des rouges, des blancs, des ouillés, des non ouillés… On n’a pas eu l’occasion de tout goûter, mais tout ce qui a traversé notre gorge, a illuminé notre poitrine ! Il y a vraiment une belle énergie, une délicatesse, une finesse et malgré son jeune âge, on sent une maitrise impressionnante de ses jus. Pas de doute, Kevin Bouillet est un futur grand vigneron (s’il ne l’est pas déjà) qui va faire beaucoup parler de lui.

La cuvée Melon à Rouge Queue du domaine Kevin Bouillet provient de vignes de Melon à Rouge Queue (ancêtre du Chardonnay) issues de sélections massales familiales. Le nez de ce vin nous révèle de magnifiques notes d'agrumes, de fruits à chair jaunes, d'amandes, d'épices avec une pointe fumée. La bouche est puissante et tendue grâce à un incroyable équilibre entre opulence fruitée, fine trame acidulée et finale sapide. Grand vin !

You may return any item that you would not be fully satisfied within 7 days of delivery to receive a full refund. This includes the cost of returning the product.
